The corn grows over 10 feet tall and ears are massive! You can also eat in the 'milk' or sweet corn stage by grilling or boiling. We love this corn!

Growing Tips

Sow in tilled soil 8 inches apart in 24-30 inch rows. Plant after danger of frost in spring. Harvest after husks have dried down if intending to make corn meal or grits. Can also harvest in the milk stage (sweet corn stage) for grilling and boiling similar to sweet corn. Corn is a heavy feeder on soil nutrients. Plant beans before your corn as beans will 'fix' nitrogen from the atmosphere to the soil. Add a natural source of nitrogen, and composted manure as needed.
